Fastly Engineers detected a performance impacting event affecting the Dashboard Data, Data Services for customer using Edge WAF as part of our NextGen WAF product.

All other data centers and services were unaffected. The issue has been resolved and we are monitoring performance closely.

Fastly Engineers detected an unplanned event that contained impact for Edge WAF data and dashboard services within our NextGen WAF (NGWAF) Console.

This event is resolved, and there is no remaining impact.

As a result of this incident, Edge WAF data ingest, a subset of NGWAF services, was disrupted and our customers with Edge WAF services would have experienced a gap within their console dashboard. In addition, customers would also see a delay on request blocking or no blocking decisions by Signal Sciences agents for Edge WAF services from 16:26 to 16:48 UTC. (~ 20 minutes)

Our network availability and remaining NGWAF services were unaffected by this incident.
